What I do

I am a registered dietitian licensed in the state of Texas with a BS in Coordinated Dietetics from Texas Christian University, riff ram bah zoo! I earned my Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credential through IAEDP. I am an active member of the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD) and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) where I connect with other clinicians in the eating disorder field. I have experience working at the inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient levels of care. My time interning at The Renfrew Center and working at Center for Discovery and Eating Recovery Center has provided me with experience helping many different clients that struggle with various types of disordered eating, eating disorders, and chronic dieting. I am dedicated to providing the best possible care for my my clients.

I provide individualized care for each of my clients using Health At Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating principles. I believe that everyone deserves fair and equal treatment regardless of their weight, size, sex, age, race, etc. I truly believe in the all foods fit mentality and incorporate its teachings throughout my nutrition counseling. I strive to help all my clients make peace with food so they are able to feel more in control of their eating and be free of guilt and shame. I would love the opportunity to help you achieve a healthy and balanced lifestyle free from diet culture!

Some fun, not work-related things about me:

I am a lover of food puns, hence the name of my practice, Radishing Recovery Nutrition Counseling. Fun fact, I genuinely dislike radishes, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity for some fun word play.  When not at work you’ll probably find me catching up on the latest TV shows, trying fun new recipes with my husband, hunting out new restaurants to wine and dine at, or spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy baking and cake decorating and actually worked as a cake decorator at a local bakery for many years! I have 2 adorable pups named Dizzy and Lacie that provide the best snuggles!
